What to have on the desk when you call
You don’t need a spreadsheet. You need roughly these six answers, and “I’m not sure” counts as one.
- Type of practice, headcountDental, PT, therapy, pediatrics. Staff and providers, a rough number is fine.
- Your EHR or practice softwareThe name on the login screen, even if you didn’t choose it.
- How people log in todayShared password, text code, an app, a sticky note. We’ve heard all four.
- Where the router livesAnd who set it up. Supply closet answers are welcome.
- Your last risk analysisThe date, or “never.” Neither one gets a lecture.
- The thing that worries you mostA fax, a vendor, a laptop that left the building. We start there.

- We’re not your 2 a.m. pager
- If you think you’re being breached right now, call your attorney and your cyber insurance carrier first. Then call us. We do the paperwork and fixes, not incident response.
- Visits are booked, not drop-in
- The assessment is a 90-minute walkthrough at your office. Meetings at Netherland Ave happen when we’ve set a time, so we aren’t half out the door when you arrive.
- Paying is boring on purpose
- One invoice per engagement, flat price agreed in writing first. Pay by ACH, check or card. Security keys are billed at cost, about $55 each.
